* A DRAGON FLY

My hopes and dreams
A dazzling dragonfly
With transparent wings
So delicate and bright
Peacock blue splattered
On a mauve backdrop
Silver dust glitter
When still at a glimpse
Flying from one grass straw
On its journey to another
Uncaring whether
They’re thriving or withered
My desires and dreams
An alluring dragonfly!
