  She looks at me in anticipation
Her eyes saying follow me
Then she dashes into her favourite place
Her tiny paws leaving tiny flaws in the snow
Speckles of sunlight fight their way through the overlapping branches
As I stand still to breathe in the crisp air
No matter what is happening in my world
In this moment I am lucky
