  The Bonsai

  Now the fresh air
And then the stink
- of the living dead
And my bonsai
tries it’s best
tries to make it clean
It’s will is strong
The roots are deep
And death cannot reach it
Afraid of it’s strength
They nip it’s growth
Leaving the flowers for show
It’s fruit, it’s seeds they forget
A strong breeze grabs a seed
And carries it far
…………the hope.
